Are you finding yourself inexplicably blue? Doctors tend to think this is caused by a combination of cold weather and lack of sunlight. Those Doctors are full of shit. Science proves (PROVES) that this is caused by lack of a proper Schtuebing. Come get your remedy when The Schtuebs return to the Local 46. You’ll feel better, it’s just basic science. December 14th will go down in the history books for The Schtuebs. Why? Shut up and we’ll tell you.
Not only is the Squire Lounge an all-new, TOTALLY remodeled joint that has to be seen to be believed, this show marks the three year anniversary of our fabled first appearance. We oft look back upon our early days at the (old) Squire. They were our formative days, where we cut our teeth in the gritty underground Denver music scene, scraping by just to make ends meet, and living on ramen and heroin. Actually, it was a mix of the two we called “ramoin.”
So be part of history and come out to this show on the 14th. We plan to unveil some new tunes, celebrate the Squire’s new digs, and cement our place in rock history.

We haven’t been here in a while, but hello Schtuebers! We just wrapped up SCHTUEBTEMBER and we’re now smack in the middle of OCTSCHTOBER. What does that mean? It means we’re about to play our 6th show of 7 in 8 weeks.
Included in that run has been the Denver Startup Week Opening Bash, a fun wedding at the Sanctuary Golf Club, and a huge event at the Broadmoor. Up next? This Saturday we’re set to play a great bar in the Highlands called Local 46. Check out the poster below, designed by our pal Bryan Nanista. See you there!

It’s that time again…time to rock out with the Schtuebs. We’ll be playing this next show in honor of our musical brother Joe Leslie, right back at where it all began…The Squire Lounge on Colfax. As the old saying goes: “The Schtuebs must go on!” Joe wouldn’t want it any other way. And as always, bring your dancing shoes, your drinking helmet, and your jammin’ pads because we’re going to open a fresh can of solid gold tunage for all to share. <<whistle/dry-hump>>

2012 is almost here, and with it brings a brand new Schtueb show at a brand new venue for us. We’re playing at Jake’s Food & Spirits, and it’s one you won’t want to miss. Why? Jimmy is gonna play the entire show in a NASA spacesuit (full oxygen, because his solos suck the air out of the room) and Joe is playing with only a sock on the jock (and a bongo solo!). So, yeah.
Jake’s is located minutes from downtown on the corner of 38th and Walnut..see ya there.
Kick off Thanksgiving week right with a huge helping of ROCK and sizable side of ROLL. The Squire Lounge is hosting us Schtuebs on Saturday, November 19th and you should be there, too. Get out and let off some steam before traveling/in-laws/turkey/football/gravy and such. See awesome poster below for an idea of how awesome the show will be.
Well….almost here now. Your favorite rock/rap cover band is gearing up for TWO shows this October! That means you get a double-dosage of hard rockin’ without even having to do anything except show up.
Our first outing is on the 7th at everyone’s favorite BBQ place, Caldonia’s. Located at Parker and Iliff, their patio, food, and drink specials are second to none. We’ll play from 6:30pm until the break of dawn (or 11ish), so don’t miss it…this may just be your last chance to sit on a great patio and enjoy the last of the warm weather!
Next up, we’re heading back to our ol’ stomping grounds, The Squire Lounge. The Squire folks are great, and their drinks are the cheapest in town! We usually kick things off about 9pm at this place and play until closing time…so bring your dancing shoes.
Just when you thought you’d have to wait a few more weeks to see your favorite band…BOOM: The Schtuebs are called upon to rock the house because some other band was too scared.
We’re excited to see you and all of your friends at Caldonia’s this Friday, Sept. 9th! It marks our first Friday night gig at the venue and it’s gonna rock….
